Description
H'var is a man that tries to look as good as he can at any given time. But tall, dark and handsome? Might depend on who's looking. He seems to aim at looking professional, well put together, for his peers and superiors. It's mostly coincidental that there are ladies that like the look, too. He's a tall man, standing about six foot two, and he's lean more than bulky. He has dark hair that tends toward wavy curls and green, almond-shaped eyes beneath well-groomed brows. His face is a bit long, but proportionate, with high cheekbones, a prominent nose and what might be considered a weak chin.
H'var dresses well, there's no ifs, ands or buts about it. And he does his best to make sure he's well put together whenever he's out and about. Being well-dressed in Igen, however, often means he's wearing more than strictly necessary. His style tends toward, at the very least, a button down shirt with sleeves rolled to his elbows, well-tailored slacks and shined boots.
Personality
H'var is a man with a strong sense of morals. For a weyrbred bronzerider, at least. He's honest and ambitious and probably a bit more serious about everything than he really needs to be. Like so many men, though, he does have a certain weakness for the fairer sex. While he's not the sort to hound after women, he's usually rather welcoming of those that come to him.
History
H'var is Igen born and raised, a grandson of the late Weyrwoman Vesta. He impressed his bronze Ruweth when he was 15 turns old on 9-27-2750. A few years after that, Ruweth caught a foreign queen while they were visiting High Reaches Weyr, her rider known for being, well… hot. His peers seemed a lot more impressed with the whole thing than he did. The next time he wasn't quite so lucky in the looks department. But Ruweth caught Celia's Oraceth to make H'var Weyrleader on 9-2-2756.
Hooks
- H'var and Renata were a thing for awhile. It's rumored that he still has feelings for her and that they might still be friends but the latter is difficult to tell most of the time.
- Ruweth caught a Reachian junior in 2753.
- He knocked up some Hold chick named Elenor and ended up bringing her to the Weyr. She gave birth to his first son, Hallen, on 9-7-2756.
