Description
Auburn strands fall neatly from this young man's head, feathered and short across the back where it seems to drift gently with each and every movement. In the front of his face, the silky strands remain long where they begin in a simple part over his right eye and conceals the left, ending at his chin. When brushed aside, old burn scars cover the left. Narrow, cautious eyes keep their vigil from behind the striking light strands: their hues being the softest hazel adorned with tiny flecks of gold residing about the edges, and often shielded by long, pale lashes. His build is rather average, tall at 5'8" and lean, weighing roughly 150 pounds. Tanned is his skin from his short travels he does take during the day, his muscles are well toned but his body slender from the turns of work.
Muted tones of forest green engulf the thick velvet vest covering Liram's shoulders as it resides atop of his raven long sleeved shirt. This shirt bears only a short collar held closed against his neck by a metal clasp, as well as he cuffs of his long snug sleeves. Thick pants of the same dark hue fall from his waist, held closed by a raven drawstring and a thick patternless leather belt. Black shoes, showing their turns of use peer out curiously from these neatly hemmed pants, proof that not everything worn need be new.
History
Liram was one of many youths brought up among the trader caravans and the many places they traveled to over the turns. He was the middle child of seven loud and obnoxious siblings who fought and gossiped like the rest of the caravan's hordes. Liram didn't care for their energy and lingered with the old aunties and uncles, learning how to create unique goods from the heart rather than buying from one and selling to another. As he grew older, the constant movement made the young man restless and he wanted to settle down in one location to sell his wares, meeting with the family when they would come and go to trade marks for supplies amongst each other. Upon the passing of a dear uncle, he inherited a wagon that was converted to open wide as a special booth to display his trinkets and other finery to willing eyes. The young man took special care of this heirloom and he resides with it to this day in the desert weyr.
Hooks
Liram is a sucker for children, especially babies. He may be grumpy and scary on the outside but he's a big teddy bear. Come up to him looking like a mess and he will threaten to take you out back and dump you in the nearest lake. Justify the messy appearance/room/weyr with rediculous reasoning and he'll follow through with those threats. The trader is a maker of toys and trinkets if anyone's asking.
