Description
Petite: though only a bit below average in height, she is slender with a tiny waist and spare curves, fine bones making her seem delicate. Her heartshaped face adds to the impression of youth in spite of her years, with round cheeks and a narrow chin overshadowed by big hazel eyes and a soft mouth which is prone to wide smiles but tends toward petulance in repose. The Igen sun has not had time to transform her skin just yet; it is all peaches and cream with a smattering of freckles across the bridge of her upturned nose and the backs of small deft hands, a dusting across the line of her collarbones and shoulders that hints at more to come in place of an actual tan. Her hair is perhaps her best feature, glossy waves with a heavy sweep of long bangs brushed across her high brow in a rich chestnut that compliments her pale skin and the murky now green, now brown, now gold of her eyes.
The basic lines of Nielle’s garb are fairly constant though the details vary. Feminine dresses with A-line skirts, tailored blazers overtop on cooler days, knit tights in muted tones and flat mary janes with tiny silver buckles are the staples of her wardrobe. She carries a slouchy messenger style bag in soot gray corduroy, with the knot of an Igen-posted Journeyman Healer dangling from the strap.
History
The Basics:
Born at Igen, daughter to a Starcrafter and a greenrider. She's got several sibling both older and younger, and all of them were basically raised by the Weyr's nannies. She apprenticed to the Healer Hall at 13, walked the tables just short of 21, and was briefly posted at Bitra. Now she's back at Igen, which isn't really home any more - it's been 10 years. Them's the boring details.
