Instariders in all colors but gold are open at all times. Gold instas, if available, will be posted on the bboard for applications by the public.
Instariders should be:
1. A new concept. Igen does not accept transfers from other games at this time. You can be inspired by your other characters, but try to do something new with it!
2. Over the age of 20. Just a smidge older than our usual requirement; if you really want to play a teenager, it won't be long until Search rolls around.
3. Characters with a plan. Before you start the app, think: What do I want to be playing with this character in six months? A year?
So how do you apply for an instarider?
Create your character on the game like normal. Make sure you set your description and everything else. Use your +info to lay out a brief history. Then, @mail *IGWSTAFF with relatively short answers to the following questions:
- Why do you want this instarider?
- What are your plans for this character in the next year?
- What hooks does this character have to help integrate with the rest of the area?
- What's your dragon's: color, hatchdate (see the timeline or make something up that fits if you're a transfer or older), final size (see the dragons page), and wing (Transport, Cargo, Rescue, or Commerce)?
