Death
Characters die. This is something that happens, and it's going to happen a lot more once we get into Threadfall. Be prepared for this. Try to deal with it in a realistic manner.
We all know that characters don't last forever. If you're done playing a character, please consider some kind of departure post, whether you say that your character has transferred elsewhere, moved into a background role, or died. Don't be afraid to let go and move on to trying something else.
If you're considering killing your character, contact your area leaders, in case there's some particular storyline they know of that your death could fit into.
